CloudStack はManagement Server とComputing Node の2種類から構成されます．
そのため，Management Server となるノードとComputing Node となるノードでインストールするパッケージが異なります．
以下では，それぞれのパッケージのインストール方法を説明します．
なお，ここではUbuntu Server 10.04 を用いてインストール作業を進めるとします．
iptablesの設定を行います．
$ sudo ufw allow 80 $ sudo ufw allow 8080 $ sudo ufw allow 8096 $ sudo ufw allow 8250
$ sudo aptitude install mysql-server
CloudStack は専用のリポジトリを追加し，インストールします．
まず，CloudStack のリポジトリを追加します．
エディタで/etc/apt/sources.listを開きます．
$sudo vi /etc/apt/sources.list
以下の行を追加します．
deb http://download.cloud.com/apt/ubuntu/stable/oss ./
追加後，リポジトリの更新を行います．
$ sudo aptitude update
Management Server へインストールするパッケージはcloud-client という名前で先ほど追加したリポジトリで提供されています．
正しくリポジトリが追加されていれば，apt コマンドでインストールできます．
$ sudo aptitude install cloud-client
cloud-clientをインストールした後，tomcatの停止を行います．
$ sudo service tomcat6 stop $ sudo chkconfig tomcat6 off
$ sudo cloud-setup-databases cloud:<dbpassword> kvm --deploy-as=root <rootpassword>
CloudStackはユーザー cloud で動作します．
その際に，mountなどのコマンドを使用するため，sudoをパスワードなしで実行出来るようにsudoersに記述します．
$ sudo visudo
以下の行を追加
cloud ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: /bin/mount,/bin/umount,/bin/chmod
$ sudo apt-get install nfs-client
Management Serverを起動します．
$ sudo service cloud-management start
Management Serverが起動すると，ブラウザでアクセスすることができます．
ブラウザでhttp://<management-server-ip-address>:8080/clientにアクセスするとログイン画面が表示されます．
デフォルトユーザはadmin
デフォルトパスワードはpassword
となっています．
Management Server と同様に専用のリポジトリを追加して、パッケージをインストールします．
まず，CloudStack のリポジトリを追加します．
エディタで/etc/apt/sources.listを開きます．
$sudo vi /etc/apt/sources.list
以下の行を追加します．
deb http://download.cloud.com/apt/ubuntu/stable/oss ./
追加後，リポジトリの更新を行います．
$ sudo aptitude update
Computing Node へインストールするパッケージはcloud-agent という名前で先ほど追加したリポジトリで提供されています．
正しくリポジトリが追加されていれば，apt コマンドでインストールできます．
$ sudo aptitude install cloud-agent
インストールが終了したら，cloud-agent の設定を行います．
cloud-agent の設定はcloud-setup-agent コマンドで行います．
$ sudo cloud-setup-agent
cloud-setup-agent コマンドでは対話式による設定を行います．
$ sudo cloud-setup-agent

cloud-agentの設定が終わると自動的にcloud-agentが起動します．

以上でComputing Node の設定は完了です．
